The Quantum Future Academy, organised by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) since 2018, offers young talents a unique opportunity to gain exclusive insights into various areas of applied quantum technologies as part of a compact themed week. The programme includes visits to industrial partners and laboratories, meetings with researchers and experts from companies, varied hands-on workshops, time for networking and cultural activities.
In 2024, the Quantum Future Academy will be hosted by Quantum Valley Lower Saxony. Locations include Leibniz Universität Hannover, the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), Technische Universität Braunschweig and Phaeno Wolfsburg.
Students from all STEM disciplines who are enrolled at a German university at the time of application and have a basic knowledge of quantum physics are eligible to apply. The deadline for applications is 20 May 2024.
Further information and the application form can be found on the Quantum Future Academy 2024 website (in German)
